This month, we received a subscription box from The Dapper Dog Box and we couldn’t be more thrilled to share the contents of the box as well as how Maya and Winston enjoyed it with our followers. The Dapper Dog Box advertises themselves as the highest quality products and we completely agree. All treats are Made in USA, toys are very durable, and customize your box based on your dog’s allergies and whether he or she is a heavy chewer.
- There were EIGHT items in the box! Whoa! We were just expecting 5-6 items (as that is normally the norm for dog subscription boxes)
- So much color in one box – definitely very eye appealing
The box came with FOUR toys, THREE treats, and ONE bandana. Retail value of the whole box was $75.41. Yup, we can’t believe it either. All of this for just $29.99 with The Dapper Dog Box. Keep reading on for our review of each product!:
ZippyPaws NomNomz Sushi (retail $6.99) & Mini-Donutz (retail $5.99): These are so stinkin’ cute. We absolutely love ZippyPaws and have actually bought a couple of their toy donuts in the past. Winston AND Maya go crazy for these and they are pretty darn durable. The sushi…. is perfect for a sushi lover like myself. It was hard for me to actually let them play with this, because I didn’t want them to destroy it! The seaweed part of the sushi is detachable, and I found that they liked that the best and played a bit of tug-or-war with that strip.
PetQwerks Krinkle & Squeak Newspaper Plush Toy (retail $4.99): This thing is awesome! It krinkles and squeaks so you get the best of both worlds. Needless to say, Maya and Winston definitely fought over this toy. To this day, I am pleased to announce that this toy is still intact.
Gnawsome Squeaker Ball Toy (retail $3.99): This is your typically bouncy squeaky ball, except, this dogs couldn’t eat this and it still remains intact up to this day. Normally, Winston would have ate the ball by now if it was a different toy, so definitely a surprise.
Down Dog Snacks Appleberry Treats (retail $10.00): We loved the fact that these treats are plant based and grain free, but they are kind of big and hard, so we had to break them up into little pieces for Maya & Winston to chew. We have never seen appleberry as a flavor with other treats before, but due to the size and how hard they are, I don’t think this is a winner in our house.
Sojos Simply Lamb Treats (retail: $10.45): What we love about these treats? The only ingredient is lamb and the dogs go crazy over this. They are bite sized so are perfect for training!
Camberville Sweet Potato and PB Treats – Travel Canister (retail: $5.00): I mean come on… what dog doesn’t love sweet potato or peanut butter? Combine the two and the dogs will do whatever you want to get their mouths on this treat! The canister has 2oz of treats in it and is perfect to carry along in your purse or pocket if you do not have a ton of space. Perfect size for traveling. This was definitely a hit with Winston & Maya and by far their favorite treats from the box.
Coco & Pistachio Bandana (retail: $28.00): This is our first bandana from C&P and we are completely amazed at the quality. You can really tell that this is not a regular bandana by the touch and feel of the fabric. We are saving this bandana for special occasions and think this would be great for the holidays as well. Their little logo sewn at the bottom is super cute as well and the bandana came in a little pouch.
Overall Impression: We are super pleased with our first Dapper Dog Box. The quality was just amazing in every single product. There was so many things in just one box and the dogs really enjoyed all the toys and most of the treats.
